Established in 2017, MinhaSalaVIP website (a Portuguese translation for My VIP Business Lounge) emerged as a personal blog for a couple of Brazilian journalists who decided to share their experiences from perceptions as travelers. When passing through airports in several countries, they realized that, with proper planning and information, it was possible to grant access to airport lounges, where one can have comfort and much more pleasant experience than compared to the public areas at the airport gate.
MinhaSalaVIP website wants to demystify access to these lounges, as many passengers think airport lounges are synonymous of status, first-class travel or targeted to top business executives. The two Brazilian journalists still run the website. They now live in the UK where the head office is established. The team has grown with other journalists living in different countries with a worldwide coverage.
